I have a DNA match with this woman, who settled in Canada and married Bert Warren. (Their son was James)

Several trees show her as Helena Amelia Titford, which is quite wrong - Amelia married Benjamin John Denham in England, and stayed here.

I think she is the daughter of Samuel Horne and Emma Howell, born 1876 in Guildford.

This is possibly Ellen emigrating to Quebec in 1905:

Ellen is aged 29, a domestic, and might be travelling with Betty Hunt, aged 26 and also a domestic, next to her on the passenger list.

Can anyone find a marriage for her in Canada, or spot her on the 1911 census there, please?

When you say you have a DNA match with her, presumably you mean with a descendant of hers? Also I can't find any of the trees that you mention to get more information - could you post a link to one of the trees, please?

This is one tree - there are quite a few

The link is almost certainly with Helen as I have four or five different matches.

Ellen is with Bert in 1916, but I can't access the details

Henry Alexander Titford / Ellen Horne.

Clicking through to the Manitoba site doesn't give any extra information.

Henry Alexander Titford died 7 Sep 1913 Saskatchewan. The Saskatchewan site hasn't made marriages available online yet so I suppose that's why Ellen's marriage to Bert Warren isn't coming up.

I can't find the Titfords on the 1911 Canadian census.

Henry's probate records are available on FamilySearch and the daughter's full name is given as Ellen Dorothy Titford:
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9T3H-39Q?i=6&cc=1918293

Probably explains why I haven't managed to find anything on her apart from that 1916 census.

Also if you scroll forwards from my link to page 11, Bert Warren is also mentioned.

Thanks, Kite.
So I probably have found the correct Ellen, but there's no guarantee that she was the mother of Dorothy? Apparently Bert had THREE stepdaughters at his death:

And, oh joy! Helena Amelia Titford turns out to be Ellen's sister in law
