I can't test this link out because I have a sub at the moment but if someone without a sub wants to try it, let me know whether it works or not. If not I will try to find another link.

Thanks Julie for that link. My sub ended yesterday and I was going to wait a while to see if Ancestry offered me a deal to sign up again as they did last year. I used your link and have the Premium for half price. I have made a note to cancel the auto renew in a few weeks time. Great timing.

Apparently if you ring and ask you can get the 50% discount. I haven't done it yet though to know for sure.

I rang but was only offered 30% on worldwide but didn't state whether annual or 6 months.

I have 2 more accounts now as I have 2 more dna accounts to manage. Those new accounts have been offered a 50% off deal. If I take up the deal on one of those accounts could I change email address to the account I use now?

My Ancestry subscription expires on 22nd May and I have been told my next annual subscription will cost £119.99 for Premium.

In the past I have let my membership lapse and then renew at the 50% discount rate.

It is interesting that they don't actually offer an annual Premium subscription generally but for renewal they apparently do.

Are there any advantageous offers available or shall I just automatically renew?

There is a 50% discount on UK Premium and Worldwide 6-month memberships at the moment (Coronation offer) - the offer ends on 15th May.

Elizabeth, I just realised that you said your sub expires on 22nd May, so if you wanted to take up the above offer, you would need to phone them. (The small print does say it excludes current subscribers but I think you would be able to get them to end your current sub early so you could take up the new one.)
