Hello All :)

I've just found a 2nd marriage for my G Aunt in India :D on the family search site.

The info gives film and image number, dates and place.... along with page number....

Can i use the page number like i would do in the BMDs ??? but then i dont have the volume number...and i cant find it on the familyrelatives site.

Oooh, i'm chuffed with this find because a lot of thier children came to England......might find a living person now!!

The page number will be the page in the parish register though, won't it? Nothing to do with GRO referencing.

You should be able to order the film to view at your nearest LDS centre:

Ahh is it - i did'nt know that

Mary, our local LDS has shut down now.

I have many certs for Indian BDMs, but have always found them in the familyrelatives site, this one isnt on it.

Might be at the India Office? I'm not very familiar with Indian BMDs.

Yes, i think i will contact them - I have a wedding cert they sent me, cost me £18 though.....:eek:
