John horton

How would I go about tracing the force's record for John Horton I know he joined the army in 1908 and then transferred to the royal flying corps but I don't know when only that it was sometime during WW1. Can I get his medals for his time in the services?.

The Royal Flying Corps was still part of the Army - it only became the RAF in 1918.
