DNA matches UPDATED

Does this simply refer to the split between parents? I seem only to get a trickle of new matches these days: it feels as if ordinary updates only happen every three or four days, which might be purely coincidental, or might mean that Ancestry's database is so large, that they add new matches less often.

Yes I think so because if you click on it that's the page it takes you to.

I am going back to look at my post on the split and numbers I made in one of your threads to see if the numbers have changed.

3,949 Unassigned matches

My 2 closest matches are assigned to both sides.

Okay I looked unassigned matches have risen to 3,975, the other two remain the same so I assume they have added more distant matches.
