Beatrice Maud Halton born 1889 Prescot

Hi everyone , I am doing research on a Beatrice Maud Halton born 1889 , baptised Prescot. To Sam Halton and Beatrice Halton , and would like to find out who she married etc if she did marry ? She resided with her family in Southport and is on the 1911 census with them . The name is quite common . And on searching have found lots of Beatrice’s with middle name Maud , which makes it more difficult . And seem to be scattered all over the place . So any help in trying to find her positively Would be great . Thanks

You say the name is common, yet there are only two birth registrations for this name between 1837 and 1915 - the one you are interested in and another in 1905!

There are only two marriages on the GRO index for a Beatrice M Halton between 1911 and 1921, in 1912 and 1913. The 1912 marriage is in Ormskirk which is nearer to where she was living in 1911, so that's the more likely. This Beatrice married William A Foulds.

Though I can't find an entry with the same dob in 1939. There is a married Beatrice Bell in Lancs b 10 Aug 1889, but no husband at home.Another possibility is that she married for a third time. Unfortunately the name Beatrice M Bell is pretty common! You would need to get the birth cert and see her dob to be clearer on this.
