I need help deciphering a name in a Will, please.

https://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=OR%2F493%2F530%2F2009%2F0001&parentid=GBOR%2FOR%2FOXFORDWILLS%2F01014997%2F1

This is the Will of John Harper of Oxfordshire dated 1667. Halfway down there is a bequest to his son Josias with the surname Harper heavily crossed out and re-written, two lines beneath that there is a bequest to his grandchild John ---- Can anyone work out what his surname might be?

As far as I can see he had three daughters, Bridget married Francis Ashton, then Jone and Charity, no marriages found and only Charity is mentioned in the will.

Thanks

This seems a very odd coincidence, over a century later...

Ooh that is odd, Phoenix! I wonder how closely they were related, if at all.

I can't find a marriage between a Truby and Harper anywhere although I expect the records are patchy in places.

Just wondering if the term "grandchild" had an alternative meaning at this time? Clutching at straws again....
