View Full Version : 1911 help to search please ASAP
I was about to put my MFMM on the new toggg thread and realised that although she died in 1931 I hadn't got her, or her husband, on the 1911 census.
So I toddled off to look - and just as well, my 70 credits run out in 2 days
But I can't find either of them - I have to admit that I haven't done any census searches for ages so am pretty rusty (FTM does the searches for you ;))
Can anyone have a go please?

I can't find them at all, even with an address search. :(

It looks as though Edith Annie might have died as George Williams is "brother-in-law" with her sister Florence Williams.
Yes, she died in Dec qr 1908 in Newton Abbott district, aged 35.
ooo - thanks everyone - I'll run off to the 1911 site now to nab those census copies before my credits go up in a puff of blue smoke!
Phew - I've just finished my credits with 2 hours 17 minutes to spare!!! I still haven't got her though :(
I started looking for her with her siblings.
I'll have to get some more credits now but her youngest brother (William b1858) was living with her for a couple of censi (sp?) so she may be with him. Especially as I've found him on the 1891 as the Innkeeper of The Jolly Sailor in Bickington.
