Name - "official" name and what they were known as - Eliza White - married names Eliza Smith, Eliza Miles.

Names of parents - Charles White and Harriet - have found a marriage ref on FreeBMD for Charles White in Sept qtr 1860 to a possible Harriet Honour.


Date and place of baptism - if applicable - 28th February 1864 (IGI entry)


Details of each of his or her marriages - if any - Edwin Smith October 7th 1882 Shabbington, Bucks. Have a note of another marriage in 1887 to a William Miles

I really don't have much on her at all. Edwin Smith died in 1884. Edwin was from Haddenham, Bucks.

Eliza was 19 and living in Shabbington. Father Charles, a labourer.

Witnesses. Looks like Frederick Brown and Mary Ann White.

They only married about 6 weeks before my gt.grandmother Ellen was born.

Just found Ellen was with her grandfather Mark Smith in 1891. I'm going through all my papers. I did a fair bit on the Smiths, virtually nothing on the White's.

She has 6 children on the one you sent she was 38 and it looked like the youngest was either 6 days or months!!

The Ann Saw she is with in 1881, could be the connection to the Smith's I'm sure Saw is a name I saw on a census as a stepdaughter.

OK, according to the 1871 census her parents were Charles and Harriet.

There is a submitted baptism on the IGI that fits. 28 Feb 1864 at Shabbington

Just looked on my 1871 for the Smith's they have an Elizabeth Saw daughter in law aged 12, wonder if a relation of the Ann for the census you found. 1881 I think?

Maybe, they are both in service together in 1881.
