Hello. Our names is John and Marianne and we are from Denmark, Europe. We do ancestry on our common family. We have a little special request about a person, which you people may have a answer to or know anything about:

Birth name:
Moritz Hermann Nake

Birth:
Leuben, Dresden, Germany, born on May 5, 1883.

He traveled to Denmark in 1900, where he married a Danish woman (Anna), and had 6 children. Moved around with the family, and took up residence at many addresses in Denmark, especially in the area around Copenhagen. He and the familys last residence was Aeroe. (Small island in Denmark).

Death:
Pretended to have drowned in the waters off Hornbaek (small fishing village in Denmark)
on September 28, 1913. His body was never found. There was later a ship interrogation on the accident, but this revealed nothing concerning the lost of the missing body. We got the interrogation from Rigsarkivet in Copenhagen.

The reason for this search is the rumor in the family that he did not die at sea, but was smuggled ashore, with the intention of leaving the family, changing identity and starting a new life maybe in USA or here in Europe.

Photo attach show Moritz Hermann Nake and his wife Anna Cathrine, født Vitved Jørgensen.

Best regards,
John and Marianne.
