Could anyone please help with Mary Ann's parents? I know she was born in Staffordshire but I've got two who would fit the bill, both b 1860. One is in Stafford & the other in Stone.
My Mary Ann m William Wright 1880.

Sorry folks, keep calling her Mary Ann but it should be Mary Jane. Her eldest daughter was Mary Ann
Elizabeth & as I knew her, she keeps popping into my head.

Ok so from the marriage entry image on FMP, her father was Joseph Bal(l)ance a labourer. and she was aged 20.

From the 1861 and 1871 census she was born in Tixall which is in Stafford reg district.

According to the 1891 census, Mary Jane was born in Tixall, Staffs. Familysearch has the baptism of Mary Jane Ballance at St John the Baptist, Tixall Staffs 19 Feb 1860, d/o Joseph Ballance & Mary Ann.

Mother was Mary A on those census records I mentioned.
