Sarah Higham is buried at Wigan, All Saints 19 July 1780. The vicar gives a cause of death but I can't read it. Can anyone else make out his scrawl.
All the others are really clear....:rolleyes:

I looked it up and you can die of rheumatic fever.

Rheumatic fever was unrecognised before the 1830s.

Yes, I think it says rheumatism, was just saying that maybe the actual cause was rheumatic fever.
