Ethnicity

I have strange group of DNA matches: over 20 of them, all living in US.

The latest representative has only French ethnicity in common with me.

Great, I thought: this will expain why I can find nothing common.... except that when I look at others, they have no French ethnicity at all:confused:


How is this possible?

Because their ethnicity estimates aren't accurate enough yet?

I'm curious about my own French ancestry. It's only three per cent, but I cannot account for it. Checking the group, the one who has only, and the one who has no French Ancestry, both appear to have up-to-date estimates.
