Date and place of burial / cremation. Grave G52, Haggate, Lancs. Grave paid for Church of Christ for whom his sister Mary (already interred in same grave) had been a missionary in Africa, on condition that the family pay for upkeep of grave.

Memorial inscription - if any: unknown - graveyard is closed, parts considered unsafe. Gravestone repaired by the family in 1970s, my aunt says as her father Albert had died she shared the costs with aunts Eva and Elsie, Sam's daughters. Reported to be in disrepair again by a Bannister relative who is now a member of this forum: Daveee.

I and another three of my 2nd cousins have DNA tested confirming our descent from Samuel.
