I'm looking at the Will of David Woodroffe and though it's not too bad to read I'm struggling with a couple of bits:

The first is his children's names - can anyone confirm the second name, please?

The other thing I'm struggling with is the probate year - Ancestry has 22 May 1562. Can anyone confirm - between the writing and my awful Latin I just can't see it.

I have David's burial as 31 March 1563

Is there any other query, Lindsay?

Elizabeth and Grace

Thanks Elizabeth, that confirms what I thought. The online tree I've found doesn't have a Grace, but does have a Margaret. Questions, questions.

Wonderful - 1563 fits with the burial much better!

There's a lot online about this branch as they were big in the City, and I'm having a wonderful time working my way through their Wills at the moment.

It looks fascinating, Lindsay!
