Pontypool.

Henry Cammock March qtr 1873 11a 140

Henry Cammock March qtr 1873 11a 145

Both have mothers maiden name of Roberts.

Both say Occasional copy A

Never seen this before. This is on the GRO index

On FreeBMD it has only one birth listed as 11a 144

I've checked the image on FMP too and it's definitely 11a 144

I thought an occasional copy was an amendment made by the superintendent registrar after the GRO return at the end of the quarter had been submitted. I don't know why there would be two (or three!) different page numbers for the actual entry.

Maybe the page numbers are a(nother) mistake on the online GRO index? FreeBMD lists 10 other birth entries for each of those pages.
