Public trees have the children born in Yorkshire, with an older brother George born 1826 and older sister Ann J born 1833. I'm trying to find Ann sr's maiden name but having no luck so far. Can anyone help, please? I'm not sure exactly when they emigrated so don't know whether they should be on the 1841 English census.

Ah, found Ralph's baptism now and his mother's name was Rebecca, so no wonder I was failing at finding Ann! It was the children's mother's maiden name I was after, so not really interested in Ann if she is a second wife. The marriage will be George Bowes / Rebecca Boothroyd 14 Jun 1825 Grinton, Yorkshire.
