Death of Elisha Timms

Appropriately on 5 November 1896, there is this account in the Banbury Guardian of the old man setting himself on fire.

He is 79, lives in Shipston, wife Jane.

My Elisha TIM(M/B)S dies June 1897 quarter, Potterspury RD aged 78, wife Hannah (deaf from birth).

So, if these are two different men, where is the death of the former?
