Newspaper Information

Lucy Scholes b.24 Jan 1893 d.1969. A great-aunt of mine was killed in a road accident somewhere Harpurhey, Rochdale Road area of Manchester.

I've searched possible newspaper articles of the time with no luck. I would like to know the details of the accident.

So that gives you the exact date of death.

The death certificate might have some detail if there was an inquest. Inquests were always reported in the local press and might have been held weeks or months after the death.
