There were several, all baptised in Littleport Cambridge from 1826, till she died in 1835.

Thomas remarried, to Jane, but in 1841 Sarah is the only child living with him.

William Smith Benton percolates down to London, and is living in Newington with a Norfolk family by 1851:

Not sure whether George Hewson is a brother?

Can anyone find William in 1841? He is probably in Norfolk, rather than Cambridge.

It looks as though the enumerator started to write Do after George Hewson and then crossed it out because he realised his surname wasn't Benton. I should think he is the George Hewson who was baptised 16 Mar 1817 at Stoke Ferry, Norfolk, son of Robert and Catharine.

There is a William Benton, 15, Tailor's Ap, in Reading, Berkshire, not born in county:

Your William becomes a tailor, so could be him?

Oh, well done!
Ancestry really isn't playing ball at the moment, and finding anything is very hard.
Why do I think "they didn't move far in those days"? This lot rattle round England and hordes hop over the pond to America.
