Hello my name is Ard Schilp from the Netherlands and i'm currently writing a book (long story why) about Clifford born in Brassington May 8th 1888. His parents were Thomas and Caroline (nee Simpson).
He left the UK age approx. 18 and went to Canada and enlisted January 1916 in Canada with the 154th Regiment, later on he was tranfered to the 58th Regiment.
He was sent overseas to the Vimy front and was killed April 12th 1917 at Vimy Ridge age 27.
What I'm looking for relatives and hopefully a picture.
