It looks like Bache to me.

Thanks, Kate. At first my overactive mind was reading Barker, as the families are connected, but I realised that it wasn't.

Yes, Henry Bache is on the Clergy Database.

The will:

February 17th 1756

In the Name of God Amen
I Elizabeth Grestock Widow in the Parish of Heston in the County of
Middlesex being weake in Body but of Sound Mind and
Judgement Do Declare this to be my last Will and Testament
Whereas upon my Son in Law the Reverend John Clarke Clerke
absenting himself from his Family I undertook the Care and
Management of his School for the maintenance of my Daughter
and her Family I do hereby in Case of my Decease consign the
School to the Reverend Mr. Bache of Isleworth for the Benefit
of my Daughter Clark and her Family and likewise all my Furniture
But upon this Condition that my Daughter Elizabeth Clarke may
have the use of the Furniture so long as she shall life and after her
Decease to be Disposed of for the Benefit of her children And I
likewise leave all my Money Debts and other Effects and the
Arrears of my daughter to the said Henry Bache Clark But
upon this Express Condition that all and every part thereof
Shall be paid to my said Daughter Elizabeth Clarke for her own
Support and the Support of her numerous Family and Whereas
my said Daughter has had Several Sums of Money of me I
cancel all Debts and Demands due from her or her husband to
me And I leave my said Daughter all my Right and property
in the House She now lives in in the Parish of Isleworth in
the said County of Middlesex Except the School which I have
before consigned to the Reverend Mr. Bache of Isleworth my Sole
Executor to this my last Will and Testament And I hereby revoke
all other Wills and Testaments Elizabeth Grestock
Witnessed by C. Lind – Mary Denby – In the presence
of whom it was Signed Sealed and delivered as her last Will
and Testament
March the 26th 1756

The under written to be annexed to my Will as a Codicil in
the Body of my Will as Witnessed above I have given my Goods
..
for the use of my Daughter Clarke for her life and after her Decease
to be Disposed of for the Benefit of her children But upon further
Consideration as the Trouble may be Great in making such Division
and the Advantage to the Respective Legatees very Small I Will
that my Daughter Clarke may be Invested in the Sole right of them
as her property only and to Dispose of them in any manner she
best pleases It is also my Desire that the Pictures of my
Father and Mother now in the Parlour at Hounslow may be
given to my Grandson John Clarke as his own Property I Desire
the Furniture mentioned in this Codicil to my Will may be & its
consigned to the Reverend Mr Bache OF Isleworth and for the Intents
and Purposes mentioned in my Will as above. Elizabeth Grestock

If there should amongst my papers be any that
being due from my Sister Grestock to me it is left there by mistake

This Will was proved at London with Two Codicils
annexed the Ninth day of September in the year of our Lord
One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Six before the Worshipfull
George Harris Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of the Right
Honourable Sir George Lee Knight also Dcotor of Laws Master
Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
lawfully constituted by the Oath of the Reverend Henry Bache
Clerke Sole Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration
was Granted of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits
of the deceased having been first Sworn duly to Administer – Ex.d

So what was the story with the Rev. John Clarke and Elizabeth (Grestock)?

There was a marriage settlement involving property. The National Archives has references to it.

The only baptism I have found was for Burton Clarke on 28th May 1742 at Twickenham.

I'm interested in this part of Middlesex (Twickenham area) because I have a query about James Barker being born there c. 1666. He married Sarah Williams, sister of Elizabeth who was the wife of Richard Grestock.
