View Full Version : My DNA Journey as a Newbie
Over the next few weeks I hope to post a regular blog on my personal DNA experience from a complete novice perspective. From choosing the test, the test itself, the results and what to do next.
Hopefully if you new like me this might help you with choices, interpreting your results and ultimately what to do with them

My son got an Ancestry DNA test for a Christmas present. He's sent it off and we are awaiting the results. I know what I expect it to say, so we'll see if there are any surprises!

I am always tempted to do this but quite frankly I don't know which outfit would be best to go with.
I am only interested from a ancestry point of view what mix is my DNA type of thing.
So I am very interested in your blog..
I'm reading the blog with interest. I'm hesitant in doing the test but would love to know the ethnicity breakdown.
My question though is do we have to upload a tree to ancestry to process the matches?
PS: Hurry up and write the next installment, I'm eager to see what happens.
The DNA test itself............
