In 1911, when the Phillips household at 43 Bartholomew Street, Leicester completed their return, Abraham and Charlotte Margaret (née Allen) said they had been married 23 years, which would take us back to about 1888 or thereabouts, give or take.
As far as I am aware, they never moved out of Leicester, so finding their marriage should be easy, shouldn’t it? Of course it should.
I can’t find it, can you?
All I can find is a marriage for Abraham Phillips in the June Quarter of 1887 to Elizabeth Anne Weston and nothing for Charlotte in the same time period.
Could someone double check for me please?
Thanks
