Would someone with Ancestry Worldwide be able to have look for a Christian Benzing born abt 1804 in Schwenningen, Wurttemberg, Germany, please?

The one I'm looking for died in London in 1834.

Many thanks

there's quite a few baptisms - do you know parents names?

No, Julie, I'm afraid not. All I know of this chap is that he died in Whitechapel aged 30yrs in 1834. I've had contact with another researcher who believes the family come from Schwenningen and I'm just trying to see if this Christian fits with that theory.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Ann

There are 3 Christian Benzings buried at St Mary's Whitechapel, one buried 1824 aged 6mths, https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/1559/31280_197966-00184/9438051?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk %2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3fdb%3dLMAdeaths%26gss%3dsfs28_ms_db %26new%3d1%26rank%3d1%26msT%3d1%26MS_AdvCB%3d1%26g sfn%3dchristian%26gsfn_x%3d1%26gsln%3dbenzing%26gs ln_x%3d1%26MSAV%3d2%26uidh%3dzs8&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults
one buried 1834 aged 30, https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/1559/31280_197967-00131/9443223?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk %2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3fdb%3dLMAdeaths%26gss%3dsfs28_ms_db %26new%3d1%26rank%3d1%26msT%3d1%26MS_AdvCB%3d1%26g sfn%3dchristian%26gsfn_x%3d1%26gsln%3dbenzing%26gs ln_x%3d1%26MSAV%3d2%26uidh%3dzs8&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults
and one ("our") Christian buried 1837 aged 56. https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/1559/31280_197967-00178/9444903?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk %2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3fdb%3dLMAdeaths%26gss%3dsfs28_ms_db %26new%3d1%26rank%3d1%26msT%3d1%26MS_AdvCB%3d1%26g sfn%3dchristian%26gsfn_x%3d1%26gsln%3dbenzing%26gs ln_x%3d1%26MSAV%3d2%26uidh%3dzs8&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults
All lived in Montague St, Whitechapel.

One of the Christian Benzing baptisms that show on Ancestry (I can't post a link to this) is Sep 1802 to a Johannes and Maria Benzing in Schwenningen. Possibly the older Christian's nephew? No proof of course, just speculation.....

Hi Sue
1834 is our Christian
and 1824 our Christian and Ann Mason's son

Christian's siblings were
Johannes 1779-1843
Elisabertha 1784- 1835
Susanna 1878-1854

I have not found who Johannes 1779 married yet!
But that can't be his son if he was born 1804.
that Christian was 56 when he died which makes his being born
1781. I'm confussing myself now !!

The one who was 56 was buried in 1837, not 1834.

I'll reply to the email you sent me and try to set out my thinking a little more clearly! I think it'll be easier if we stick to just one method of communication!
