I have the following family on the 1891 census RG12 piece 1871 folio 91 page 42.

WYATT, Mathew Head M 42 1849 Milverton Somersetshire
WYATT, Sarah J Wife F 37 1854 Alderney
WYATT, Matthew Son Single M 13 1878 Glamorganshire South Wales
WYATT, George Son Single M 13 1878 Glamorganshire South Wales
WYATT, Thomas Son Single M 10 1881 West Buckland Somersetshire
WYATT, Bessie Daughter Single F 7 1884 West Buckland Somersetshire
WYATT, Mark Son M 5 1886 West Buckland Somersetshire
WYATT, Luke Son M 2 1889 West Buckland Somersetshire
WYATT, Mary Daughter F 0 (11M) 1891 Wellington Somersetshire

They also have a May registered 2Q 1892. My problem is I can't find suitable birth ref's for Mary and Luke.

The one I have for Luke fits the census but does not fit with the ref I have for Mary. I wont say what they are for now.

I'm around for a while but then I'm going to bed. I'm not ignoring anyone.

There is a Luke Wyatt birth reg Apr-Jun 1890 Wellington, Som but that would make him about 1 year old on the census, not 2. And there is a Mary Ann Wyatt birth Apr-Jun 1888 also Wellington, Som, so could it be that Luke and Mary have been swopped over on the census? Have you found the family in 1901 and / or 1911?

That is the birth refs I have found.

Luke says he is 20 on the 1911 census, can't find Mary. Neither are with their parents.

Haven't got the family on the 1901 for some reason. Will have a look now.

on the 1901 Sarah is widowed. RG13 piece 2271 folio 110 page 39

Mary A is 12 and Luke 10. So that would fit with what we have and Luke being 20 in 10 years time.

I haven't found Sarah on the 1911.

Well, the 1901 seems to confirm that they're the wrong way round on the 1891, doesn't it?
