Morning all,
Can you help me find the male children of Thomas Culley 1780 & Sarah Pert 1790?
They were all christened in Tuttington Norfolk. Thomas Culley died in 1808 & i can't see a death for Sarah or a re marriage. I am finding it tricky to go further back than Thomas if i'm honest.

Ann 1801
John 1803
William 1805
George 1808

Have you investigated this marriage for Sarah Culley widow?

When you say "the male children", does that mean you have already traced Ann?

I did see the John Culley but i couldn't place James. He's to old to his child which leaves a sibling but i couldn't attach him to the family if that makes sense?

The John who was married to Ann is in Burnham Thorpe in 1851, age 47, born Suffield, Norfolk:
https://www.ancestry.co.uk/interactive/8860/nfkho107_1826_1827-0400/5319416?backurl=http%3a%2f%2fsearch.ancestry.co.uk %2fcgi-bin%2fsse.dll%3f_phsrc%3dCzj4056%26_phstart%3dsucc essSource%26usePUBJs%3dtrue%26db%3duki1851%26gss%3 dangs-d%26new%3d1%26rank%3d1%26msT%3d1%26gsln%3dcul*y%26 gsln_x%3d1%26MS_AdvCB%3d1%26gskw%3dt*ttin*t*n*%26g skw_x%3d1%26cpxt%3d1%26cp%3d11%26catbucket%3drstp% 26MSAV%3d2%26uidh%3dvm5%26MSV%3d1%26gl%3d%26gst%3d %26hc%3d10%26fh%3d10%26fsk%3dBEFTMzMIgAAinAA5WqQ-61-&ssrc=&backlabel=ReturnSearchResults

And there is a John Culley baptised at Suffield in 1803, son of Daniel and Mary, so it looks as though we can rule out the one who is in Tuttington in 1841.

Findmypast has John Culley listed in the British Army Service Records 1821-9 so it would be worth you looking at that to see what information is given, assuming it is the same person as the one in the "Canada, British Regimental Registers of Service".

Yes, Ann had an illegitimate child which is where my line comes from. Hoping that by following the boys it may give a clue to going back further.

There is a William Culley born Tuttington on the censuses, married to Mary, but he seems to be the one baptised 1800, son of Benjamin and Mary.

Findmypast has a George Culley born 1808 listed in the British Army Service Records, date 1827, so it would be worth looking at that to see whether he is the right George.

As for Thomas, there is a Thomas Culley baptised 1 Jun 1779 at Tuttington, son of Thomas and Mary.

Sarah Pert can't have been born in 1790 if she had a child in 1801

This looks promising in 1841:

as I think the couple listed after Sarah are her parents! (if this is her that is...)

There is a record of a marriage for Thomas Culley & Mary Dyke 12/1/1779 in Tuttington

http://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?indiv=1&dbid=9852&h=28829343&ssrc=pt&tid=69909532&pid=340138995948&usePUB=true

another child, say's Mary was a widow? is that previous to the baptism or at the the time as in Thomas's widow? Ann Culley 26/7/1789 also what does baptised a pauper mean? I have never heard it before.

The baptism entry means that when Thomas married Mary her name was Mary Dyke, widow. The marriage entry says she was a widow too (FMP).

Oh and at the 1779 wedding Thomas Culley was a widower.
