I don't know why they keep making new databases with very similar titles to each other, very confusing.

These two are brand new:
Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1518-1921 (http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=61456) over 27 million records
Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1567-1945 (http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=61250) over 12 million records

and they already had this one, with over 45 million records:
Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1519-1969 (http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=61229)

They do have a search covering all their German Lutheran records in one go:
http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/group/german_lutheran

This one is also new (and included in the above search):
Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Family Tables, 1550-1985 (http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=61389)

I think the sources are different. Why they can't identify the different sources under one heading I don't know but it would make life simpler.

The database at the third link in post #1 is showing as updated, and the title has changed to Germany, Lutheran Baptisms, Marriages, and Burials, 1500-1971 (I had to look at the database number to see which one it was!) but there are still just over 45 million records, so they can't have added much at all.
