These electoral rolls are also on ancestry but there may be years and places covered on one site but not on the other.

NSW have 1903 and 1913 which are a lot earlier than the 1930 start for ancestry.

The transcriptions are not very good. Orchardist was Candardist, my great great grandfather did not come up in a search but is on the same page as his daughters fiance. I finally found it badly transcribed. His daughter, with the same surname, is transcribed correctly.

It feels a bit OCR.


Interestingly my other 2g grandma's middle name is spelled incorrectly on the roll. I wonder how, or why?

There are loads of years missing, which are on Ancestry.
