I have a family tree (don't ask??) that has the letters CLM beside some names.
I have no idea what CLM stands for. The only place I've found it is in the following, by googling.
This CD-ROM is indexed by Jenifer A. Edmonds from original records held at the London Metropolitan Archives under reference: H10/CLM/ B3/1 - H10/ CLM/B3/12. The index covers baptisms in London and from as far afield as Norfolk or Gloucestershire. Many travellers are included. The index lists the date of birth, the child’s and parents’ names, parents’ place of abode and occupation, and reference number.
The above has nothing to do with my tree....it's just where I found "CLM".
Any ideas what it could mean beside names?
