The Will of James Bryarley, mariner of Cork, Ireland 1736 is on Ancestry and he leaves everything to his wife, Julian.

I've had a look on FMP, Ancestry and Family Search but I'm not finding anything - marriage or hopefully children. I've no experience with Irish research! Are there records available that far back? If so where?

Thanks :)

The short answer is that some records are, but not many. I'll see if I can find anything though.

Sites to look at include ancestry, FMP, FamilySearch and the sites linked to below:

Hmm, FamilySearch has the baptism of an Ann Bryerly 23 Nov 1712 at St Michael's, Bristol, parents James and Julian. Just a coincidence?

Thanks Kite. The Bristol baptism does look interesting, doesn't it? Sadly I can't see any others!
If you've some time .... here's the reason I'm interested in James and Julian http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=18257&highlight=garrett+briley

Certainly could be a connection given that Garrett and Susannah had a child named Julyan. I haven't managed to find anything else to help yet.

Still not finding any relevant Irish records :(

Another lead to go on the ever growing "possible" pile!

Thanks for looking Kite :)
