Good Morning - does anyone have the answer to this question please .
I have just returned from Jersey and I go 2-3 times a year.
When I went for a pint last night the barmaid said she was born there under her mums maiden name but has been known all her life by her dads name .
She has no identity as her birth given name . She has asked if I can get a copy of her Birth Certificate when I go back to Jersey on 31st Jan 2017.
Will St Helier BMD Register Office give me a copy or will she have to go in person ??

ADDED - this thread can be deleted as I have found a FAQ link on Jersey and she can apply by post - £20 for the Certificate and 50p postage - good news ...thanks ....allan
