Ann Newton is stated to have married William Bothamley on 3rd April 1749 at Peterborough Cathedral in someone's online tree.
Are these records available online as transcriptions or images?
I want confirmation of this.
Family Search doesn't have any online sources listed for Peterborough Cathedral marriages. :(

I can't find anything, Merry.
This family moved around a lot. The parents just might have come from the Long Eaton district. They lived in Claypole and then Heydour in Lincolnshire. Then one son went to Stilton, Huntingdonshire. This daughter lived in Paston, Northants., with her family, and some of her offspring went to Boston, Lincolnshire.

It should be on ancestry in the Northamptonshire PR's but I don't have time to look just now as I need to get my shopping done before it gets really hot outside!
There are some here at ancestry:
Northamptonshire, England, Church of England Marriages, 1754-1912
but after the date you need.

I can't find this marriage on Ancestry, which is very frustrating!
Thanks for looking, Merry.
No, the earliest is 1816.

Thanks, Kate. It's not my direct line, so I'm not over-bothered, but I do like to tie up loose ends.
Without the will of her brother, John Newton of Heydour, I wouldn't have known what happened to Ann Bothamley (variant spellings).
