So far I've found nothing that I hadn't already found on FreeREG, but of course it's great to see the images. At least I now have the right surname for my 4xg-grandmother - Robins (vicar's spelling) or Robbins (her sig) but definitely not Roisbins (transcription)!

This has solved a puzzle in my tree - I had a Robert Glass baptised in 1789 who was age 5 at baptism, according to the transcriptions, with a big age gap between him and his elder siblings, and a Robert Glass who got married in 1792 and seemed to be related to my Glass family but I couldn't find the connection. Now I have looked at the image, he was actually 17 when he was baptised!

I have seen, and learned much from, freeREG and other transcriptions of various Somerset records, but if there are images, I might have to find time to renew my sub. to have a trawl through them. I wonder what gems I might come across that did not make the transcriptions !

sadly I can't solve any mysteries but it is good to see images to confirm the transcriptions I've had were correct, or not. Although even the wrong dates were only a few days out.

I've not seen this! :O

Hopefully I can find James Brown (http://www.genealogistsforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=23606) somewhere.
