1939 question

[Lynn the Forest Fan]

I have been making use of the free access to Find my past and have found a confusing entry. I was looking for George Barley b 29/11/1876 in Barton upon Humber, Lincolnshire and have found one in Brigg UD. I am not positive this is the right one, but when I tried to look at the transcription, it said that the household was closed! I can understand why individual records are closed but not a whole household, particularly as this man would certainly be dead by now.

Any ideas?

Well, I can see the entry.

He's the second from bottom on the page. He's a patient, formerly a turncock?

I assume the address was the local workhouse/infirmary

I think this has happened to me when I wasn't logged in, Lynn, but it worked o.k. once I had logged in.
