He has been one whopping great brick wall for so long, but when I discovered a will for him at the Suffolk record office I thought I had him beaten.

A good long will too, lots of detail, except ............... he's referred to his " 2 youngest sons", his "eldest daughter" and "his brother", but HASN'T NAMED ANY OF THEM!!! :mad: :mad:

It's lucky he's dead, because I could have killed him for this.

Are there any wills for people of the same surname who good be his sons or daughters?

I know your pain. The will I needed the most information from was written at such a time that the person I was trying to prove or disprove as family came under the clause "and any other children I might have".
