View Full Version : Marion Sharples
Hi Everyone
I am looking for more information on a relative of mine, Marion Sharples.
Born: 1892 in Foulridge, Lancashire
Parents: Thomas Sharples (1863-1928) and Emily Pickles (1866-1941)
1901 census she is living with her parents in Colne, Lancashire and 1911 census also in Colne, Lancashire.
After this I cannot find any possible marriage, or military or immigration records or a death notice.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Nerrida

Hi Merry
I cant see if my thankyou has come through, if not thankyou for all the information! Can
I ask where you are finding it? I am member of one of the main ancestry search engines and am not finding the things you are coming up with. Any tips are greatly welcomed.
Warm Regards
Nerrida
The 1939 register entry was from findmypast.
The probate entries were from ancestry's 'England & Wales, National Probate Calendar (Index of Wills and Administrations), 1858-1966' and the death reg was from FreeBMD, though obviously there are a lot of sites that have the GRO indexes.
When I search on ancestry I always have the 'Match all terms exactly' box ticked (at the top of the search page). The results then come up in separate categories rather than in a very long list sorted by the order ancestry think you might like to see them!
