This is the text of a query I put up on another site years ago:
"All the pedigrees show William Fowell marrying Agnes Achym, daughter of William of Pelynt in Cornwall. Fine. Except that an Agnes Achym, daughter of William of Pelynt in Cornwall also marries a Phillip Crymes. He dies in 1595 and there is a will of an Agnes Crymes widow a year or so later. (Agnes was also the name of her mother in law!)
I have toyed with the idea that William Fowell married Phillip Crymes' widow, but never had proof."
I had found this book online: https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=WJGEAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA522&dq=william+fowell+achym&ei=gJ4WSo-kB4PcygSXnMjFCw#v=onepage&q=william%20fowell%20achym&f=false
and asked:
"Do you think the word on the third line from bottom "Guimets" could be a mistranscription of Crymes? (The family had an irritating habit of sometimes spelling their names "Grymes")"
In William Fowell's will, he names his step-daughter Ursula Dingham and step-son John Dingham. Then, I thought them possibly brother and sister.
Now I have found http://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=gbprs%2fm%2f959201357%2f1
John Dinham marrying Ursula Grims in Cornwall in 1616.
