The marriage is the penultimate on the page. Please can I have confirmation of some of the entry?

I think one part says "Hamlet of MENT" (Mile End New Town?).
I'm not sure what is written after Sarah Deaton's name and the word "Parish". There are two words then "Spinster".

Also, there is something written after Thomas Latham's signature.

It does look like Hamlet of M E N T. The first entry on the other page has Hamlet of M E O T. Therefore it seems logical that it is Mile End New Town. It looks like ????? Hamlet for Sarah, but the writing is so poor, I can't make it out.

Thanks for looking, Shona. I think the ink has bled.

What are all the hamlets in Tower Hamlets? There's Mile End (Old and New Towns), Limehouse, Ratcliffe, Poplar, Bow, Bethnal Green, Shadwell and Spitalfields. May be more! The ink squiggle looks like none of them.

I think it's "same Hamlet" or "the same hamlet".

Sue, I think you are correct. Many thanks!
