Following his WDYTYA episode, this is about his uncles who took part in the Easter Rising of 1916.

I am not sure whether to watch this or not. I like Brendan O'Carroll and I think he is a very intelligent man. However, I think his view is likely to be very biased. I don't think I've ever heard either side of the Irish debate concede that the other side might have been partly right!

I reckon this was made to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising. It will be over-romanticised (I recall his WDYTYA episode tended towards the 'twiddly-diddly'), make out the IRA were some sort of folk heroes and gloss over the hideous civil war which followed.
Prob still watch it, though!
Does he drag up at any point?

Oh, undoubtedly he will make them heroes, how could he do anythng else?

My grandmothers cousin George William Barks of the Sherwood Foresters was killed in the Easter rising. I shall certainly watch it.
[COLOR="Blue"]This is the day George died. It mentions the Sherwood Forresters.

I must see if we are getting that show. I have only ever heard the story from my grandfather who was a medical student at Trinity College in Dublin at the time.
