Born in Shenington, Gloucestershire and possibly lived there until Oct 1742 as all his children from both marriages were born in Shenington.
By Oct 1743 he had moved to Crispin Street, Spitalfields where his youngest child died aged one year and one day and was buried at the Friends Burial Ground in Whitechapel.
