I found this website while trying to find parish registers online for Ripon.
I haven't searched it all but it contains free books containing transcripts of parish registers for parishes in Yorkshire. Mostly they are older dates ie 1500 and 1600's but some go up to the 1800's.
No idea what else there is but I thought it might be useful to some.
