Same address, different pages?

But why is he marooned on a separate page?

Maybe his details were written in incorrectly on the original page on one of those "closed" lines and the correct version had to be written on the later page? Or it had to be amended in some way which meant it had to be written out all over again. There is a red asterisk next to his name and it looks as though there is something other than a house number written below Mabel's house number on the original page.

Marjorie Goodridge appears twice: and there is a red line through her entry, referring you to the other page. I wonder if they are hospital patients?
