Hi Rebecca, Welcome to the forum.

I've not yet purchased and 1939 Register pages, so haven't been exposed to these codes, but QDA is the area code for Warwickshire. Is the address listed in Warwickshire?

My two grandmothers both married post 1939 & they have a date & code written next to them. The code is part of my grandfather's NR code & the date must be when the register was updated or they were informed of the marriage.

Was your great grandmother married after 1939?

Hi, i was re-looking through her marriage records and she did get married in 1945 in Warwickshire, so it must stand for that. Thanks for the help, i probably wouldn't have figured it out.
