Most of what I have on Charles comes from Huguenot Society records. A possible Tesmoignage in 1731 for a Charles Gentil from Amsterdam. And a record of an application to the French Protestant Hospital to pay 14s. 4d for "coffin, crape shroud etc" for his funeral which also gave his date of death but not date or place of burial. This record also gave me his father's name and place of origin.
Huguenot baptisms helpfully give the mothers maiden name but sadly I can't as yet find their marriage.
