Stedham/Heyshott linked?

Hi there. I'm wondering if anyone has researched the link between Stedham and Heyshott parishes. I know that Heyshott served as a chapel to Stedham up until the late 1800's. Specifically, I am trying to sort out when/why folks in Heyshott would be recorded in the Stedham parish records, Protestation, buried in Stedham instead of Heyshott, etc. I know there a couple of out of print books on Heyshott with some portions transcribed at gravelroots. If anyone has looked into these issues, please let me know and I can provide more specifics on my query. Thanks.
