I have found a newspaper article about the closure of the Atkinsons' tailors in 1952 which is somewhat confusing as it mistakenly calls William the retiring owner's grandfather when he is in fact his great, great grandfather.

It says that William was tailor to the Lister family at Malham Tarn before Thomas Lister was created Baron Ribblesdale (title created 1797) and used to stay at Gisburne Hall for weeks at a time after Ribblesdale got his title tailoring for both his lordship and staff.
