Probably the will of the George Shaw who was buried in 1749, although he was from Staincross, but it is still in the parish of Darton.

Thanks, Kate.

Unfortunately the will might not belong to my George Shaw but another one.
I'm cooking at the minute, but I'll post more on this in a bit.

This was the burial I had:

Name: George Shaw
Event Date: 17 Apr 1749
Event Type: Burial
Parish: Darton, All Saints

but this appears to be the burial of our George:
Name: George Shaw
Event Date: 19 Sep 1748
Event Type: Burial
Parish: Darton, All Saints

Both burials are on this page:

On the children's baptisms, our George is given as a weaver.
The 1748 burial says:
"George Shaw Weaver 7ber 19"

The other George Shaw is from Staincross and is a Nailer.
