Thomas Bishop may be the son of Nicholas (mariner) and Elizabeth Bishop as he and Elizabeth Keatt named their third son Nicholas and this doesn't seem to be a common name in the area at the time. Nicholas Bishop's administration was granted in 1708. No sign of a burial for him.

Elizabeth Keatt had a brother, Bernard Keatt (mariner) who included her in his will written Jan 1704 (old style) and proved 1708. No burial for him either. Thomas and Elizabeth Bishop named their fourth son Bernard. Bernard junior was baptised in Nov 1704, so perhaps his uncle was already dec'd at this date?

Wyke Regis parish registers do not exist before 1676.
