OH's 3x-great-grandfathers were Joseph Newton and his brother William Newton:

Joseph's son James married William's daughter Jane.
Joseph was in business with the Buckleys:
“Notice is hereby given, that the Partnership between the late John Starkie, deceased, and the undersigned Nathaniel Buckley, Abel Buckley, Sarah Buckley, Margaret Buckley, and Joseph Newton, in the business of Woollen-Clothiers, carried on under the firm of Starkie, Buckley, and Newton, of Huddersfield, in the County of York, and under the firm of Buckley, Newton, and Company, at Wood, in Stayley, in the County of Chester, was this day dissolved by mutual consent; and the all debts owing to or by the concern shall be received and paid by the said Nathaniel Buckley.
Dated the 26th day of June 1815
John Whitaker,
John Edwards,
Wm. Marshall,
Executors of the late John Starkie, deceased,
Nath. Buckley,
Abel Buckley,
Sarah Buckley,
Margaret Buckley,
Joseph Newton.”
It seems that Nathaniel, Abel, Sarah and Margaret Buckley might have been siblings.

Page 17 made me jump because it has a sister, Hannah Buckley, marrying W. Newton.
I can't find a marriage for Hannah to W. Newton but there is a marriage allegation for John Newton and Hannah Buckley in 1779:

John is 20 and Hannah 19 which fits in with the tree where is says Hannah was born in 1759. John is a "dry salter".
However, I can't find a baptism for Joseph c. 1780.
But there is a baptism for a William Newton on 10 June 1787:

But John is a Spinner here.
There are just too many Newtons and Buckleys in the area.
